Is the ZONEDEBIT direct debit a bank card scam fraud?

If you notice a debit from ZONEDEBIT, it means that your bank card has been entered on a website.

Here are some examples: a trial offer on a clairvoyance site (for example '30 minutes for 1 euro '), a small subscription for a dating site or even an adult content site that required proof of majority by entering their bank card numbers… All these examples have the same consequence: that of automatically subscribing to an online service billed every month.

Unless your bank card has disappeared and someone else has used it to register on a website, there is a good chance that you are at the origin of this subscription to ZONEDEBIT. Perhaps you did not understand that entering your bank details could lead to a subscription? (this is quite possible and unfortunately very common.)

In summary, we cannot consider it a scam in the sense that it is not a credit card hack.

Where does the ZONEDEBIT card withdrawal come from?

As explained above, this flow follows an internet subscription subscription.

Our diagnosis: It seems that the CB ZONEDEBIT withdrawal is the consequence of a subscription to an adult content site (adult dating or videos for example) OR a mediums / clairvoyance site. Don't you remember having taken out a subscription? Maybe it's because you thought you were just entering your bank details for a little trial offer (or even to prove your majority or your identity). Many sites offer attractive offers in order to sell subscriptions. This is part of the common 'business mechanics' on the internet.

Attention: who says subscription, says recurring direct debit. If you no longer wish to be withdrawn, you must absolutely complete the cancellation process so as not to be withdrawn in the coming months.

How to stop ZONEDEBIT card withdrawals?

There are two solutions to stop withdrawals from ZONEDEBIT and terminate any subscription taken out against your will:

Can I block my card with my bank to stop ZONEDEBIT bank charges?
