Is the PLAYKULL bank charge a card fraud scam?

You notice a debit that responds to the name of PLAYKULL: this means that your bank card has been entered on a website and that you are (perhaps, without knowing it) subscribed to a service offered by the site.

What site could this be? Here are a few examples: a trial offer on a site (clairvoyance or meetings, etc.), a contest to win a smartphone at 1 euro (or any other attractive object: a tablet, cinema tickets, etc.), or even a site on which you found yourself following a newsletter announcing a gain (trip, weekend ...) or a super reduction ...

Unless your bank card has disappeared (lost or stolen) and an evil person has used it to register on a website of this type, there is a good chance that you are at the origin of this subscription to PLAYKULL.

In this sense, we cannot consider it to be card fraud in the sense that it is not bank card hacking.

What is the origin of the PLAYKULL direct debit?

As explained above, this speed follows an internet subscription.

Our diagnosis: It seems that the CB PLAYKULL withdrawal is linked to contests such as "Win a smartphone for 1 euro", "You won a tablet", "You won cinema tickets or a luxury weekend" ... Their mode of operation? You enter your bank details as part of one of these contests (to pay shipping costs, prove your identity or other pretext ...) and you end up subscribed to any service. The company that manages PLAYKULL can thus charge you one or more amounts each month under the pretext of a subscription.

Please note: this debit is recurring and will continue as long as you have not completed the termination procedures so as not to be withdrawn for the next few months.

How to stop PLAYKULL direct debits?

There are two solutions to stop withdrawals from PLAYKULL and terminate any subscription taken out against your will:

Can I block my card with my bank to stop the PLAYKULL charges?
