AMUSICHEAVEN appears on my bank statement: how do I cancel it?

4 questions / answers to understand
this bank charge

Is the AMUSICHEAVEN card withdrawal a card fraud scam?

If you notice a debit from AMUSICHEAVEN, it means that your bank card has been entered on a website.

Here are some examples: a trial offer on a site, a contest to win a smartphone at 1 euro (or any other attractive object: a perfume, cinema tickets, etc.), a draw to win a trip following sending a newsletter ...

UNLESS your bank card has disappeared (and someone else has used it to register on a website), there is a good chance that you are at the origin of this subscription to AMUSICHEAVEN. Perhaps you did not understand that entering your bank details could lead to a subscription (this is quite possible and unfortunately very common.)

In summary, we cannot consider it a scam in the sense that it is not a credit card hack.

What is the origin of the AMUSICHEAVEN direct debit?

As explained above, this speed follows an internet subscription.

Our diagnosis: It seems that the CB AMUSICHEAVEN withdrawal is linked to raffle games such as "Win a 1 euro iPhone", "You won a weekend at the hotel", "You won cinema ticket books" … How they work? You enter your credit card numbers as part of one of these contests (to pay shipping costs, prove your identity or other reason ...) and you end up subscribed to any service. The company that manages AMUSICHEAVEN can thus deduct one or more sums from you each month under the pretext of a subscription.

Please note: this direct debit is recurring. You must complete cancellation procedures to no longer be charged for the next few months.

How to stop AMUSICHEAVEN direct debits?

There are two solutions to stop withdrawals from AMUSICHEAVEN and terminate any subscription taken out against your will:

- 'I want to manage on my own': the solution (free)

  1. Identify the site at the origin of these withdrawals: on which site did you enter your bank card details?
  2. Once you have found the site, connect to it (if you have a current subscription with them, you have created an account in the past)
  3. Once logged in, you will usually find the unsubscribe procedure in the site settings

- 'I prefer to let a pro handle the problem': go through a service provider such as "I stop the costs! »To help you stop direct debits AMUSICHEAVEN:

    1. They take care of the identification searches of the company that takes your money
    2. They carry out the termination procedures
    3. They send you a confirmation email once everything is stopped

Can I block my card with my bank to stop the AMUSICHEAVEN charges?

If it is a card fraud, that is to say, if the card has been lost and used by a third party, you can declare it lost with your banker. You will also be able to open a fraud file to try to obtain a refund (this point is to be discussed directly with your bank advisor).

If you are still in possession of your card, it is very unlikely that it is a card hack: in this case, you have entered your bank details and have validated the GTC (General Conditions of Sale) which informed you about a possible subscription: blocking the card would therefore mean not honoring a contract for which you have signed up. We therefore do not recommend blocking your credit card. The legal point : in March 2018, the court of cassation accepted the culpable negligence of a customer who had transmitted his data to a fraudulent site. This is the reason why a banker may refuse to block your card if you are the originator of the subscription.

Pssst!

I went directly to the amusicheaven.com site and following an online chat an operator canceled my subscription.
I have received a cancellation confirmation email. By not paying attention we subscribe to their service, the very small lines to read that we obviously do not see!
They must give me a refund, to check my account suddenly ...

        Bonsoir
It's the same for me, I subscribed to a subscription to the same site and after seeing your comment I contacted an agent via chat as you did, he confirmed the cancellation of the subscription and the reimbursement of the direct debits but I do not know if it is true where that blah blah.
Did he get your money back or not ..?

For 3 months, my Mastercard has been debited by € 3.95 without my having subscribed to the Amusicheaven.com site !!
I did not subscribe to this site and I did not participate in any questionable contests of this kind.
My bank details were hacked through the Amazon site !!!
It is therefore an outright theft.
