All you need to know about GEEKLOVEUR: why are they taking money away from you, how to stop everything?

4 questions / answers to understand
this bank charge

1/4 GEEKLOVEUR card withdrawals: why am I being charged money? Is this an online scam?

GEEKLOVEUR debits are linked to a subscription. GEEKLOVEUR is withdrawing you because you have subscribed to an online dating service.

Did I get myself by a scam? This is a scam IF your bank card has been stolen and purchases have been made with it. If you still have your card, there is a good chance that you are the source of the GEEKLOVEUR direct debits.

But I don't remember subscribing to this site! So here is what could have happened: you entered your card numbers as part of a trial offer or to confirm your majority ... and you did not read the Site's Terms of Sale which stated that unless you decline it, you subscribe to their service.

This happens very often, if we are to believe the testimonials we collect on our site, but don't worry, we explain how to cancel the subscription !

2/4 How to stop GEEKLOVEUR CB withdrawals?

Stopping GEEKLOVEUR direct debits is free. To do this, you must complete the termination procedures. You can do this directly online.

If you can't do it alone (because you are lost, because you do not remember the origin of the subscription, because you do not have the time or the inclination to cancel yourself or for any other reason), it is possible to get assistance from a termination assistance service provider. Our recommendation: I stop the costs!

This company helps you to identify the origin and the reason for the withdrawals and to stop them definitively. They can even help you get a refund WHEN possible (beware: requests for refunds are unfortunately not always successful, because they are really on a case-by-case basis. On the other hand, when it comes to stopping withdrawals / cancel subscriptions, their services are guaranteed 100% effective or reimbursed.

3/4 Easily cancel a subscription with the help of 'I stop the fees!' : how it works ?

Would you like help to stop GEEKLOVEUR withdrawals? Because you can't do it alone, because you are lost, because you don't have time… Good news! It is possible with I stop the costs! This service exists to simplify your life 😉

Why do we recommend it to you?

Most:

  1. Support from A to Z: investigation to find the site at the origin of the debits, termination procedures ... and all this in all languages (practical when the termination must be done in English for example!)
  2. When possible, 'I stop the costs!' helps you get reimbursed of all or part of the sums withdrawn (be careful, unfortunately this is not systematic because each case is unique. When a refund is possible, your account manager indicates it to you and begins the procedures for you as a bonus for termination procedures)
  3. All termination services are guaranteed '100% effective or refunded'

Cons:

  1. These services are chargeable (count between 24,90 and 49,90 euros for a termination service)

4/4 The banking / legal point: what do I risk if I renew my bank card?

What the law says ? : in March 2018, the court of cassation accepted the culpable negligence of a customer who had transmitted his bank details to a fraudulent site. The bank had opposed his requests for reimbursement, accusing him of negligence in the custody and conservation of his personal data of the security system of payment instruments.

This court decision explains why your bank advisor may refuse to block your card if you are the originator of the purchase.

If you are still in possession of your bank card, it is very unlikely that it is a card hack as explained above: blocking the card would therefore amount to not honoring a contract for which you signed up. We therefore do not recommend blocking your credit card but carrying out the online procedures to cancel the current subscription.

Fraud point: of course, if your card has actually been stolen from you and you are not the originator of the purchase, it is a card hack. In this case, do not hesitate to go and file a complaint. In some cases, you will also be able to open a fraud file with your banker to try toget a refund : this point is to be seen directly with your bank or your card issuer (Visa, Mastercard…).

Pssst!

I found it just from everflirt, for the canceled go my profile then at the bottom right there wrote "debit card?" »Click on it and canceled subscription renewal. It was good to hide, it is a shame to steal large sums from us like that.

I would like to cancel my subscription to this website, and that debits on my account cease. I had contacted them by email, and they had confirmed that my request would be taken into account. But I found that another payment was made for this site despite my termination request.
