My bank indicates an ORDERFEECREW card debit: what is it? - in 4 key points

4 questions / answers to understand
this bank charge

1/4 - ORDERFEECREW direct debit: is it a bank card scam fraud?

If you notice a debit from ORDERFEECREW, this means that your bank card has been connected to a website which offers paid services.

Here are a few examples: a trial offer on a site for gifts or discount products, on a clairvoyance site or even on a site for adult content or dating ...

UNLESS your bank card has disappeared (and someone else has used it to register on a website), there is a good chance that you are at the origin of this subscription to ORDERFEECREW. Perhaps you did not understand that entering your bank details could lead to a subscription (this is quite possible and unfortunately very common.)

In summary, we cannot consider it a scam in the sense that it is not a credit card hack.

2/4 - Where does the ORDERFEECREW direct debit come from?

As explained above, this speed follows an internet subscription.

Our diagnosis: It seems that the CB ORDERFEECREW withdrawal is linked to an online service site subscription (dating site type or even good deals sites for example). Their operation? You enter your credit card numbers as part of a trial offer and you end up subscribed to the service. The company that manages ORDERFEECREW can thus deduct one or more sums from you each month under the pretext of a recurring subscription.

Please note: this direct debit is recurring. You must complete cancellation procedures to no longer be charged for the next few months.

3/4 - How to stop ORDERFEECREW direct debits?

There are two ways to stop cash withdrawals from ORDERFEECREW and to terminate any current subscription taken out against your will:

- 'I want to do all these steps myself': the solution (free)

  1. Find the site linked to these direct debits (= the site on which you took a trial offer): on which site did you enter your credit card details?
  2. Once you have identified the site, connect to it (if you have a current subscription with them, you have created an account there in the past)
  3. Once logged in, you will generally find the unsubscribe procedure in the site settings (which can be found in the 'my account' or 'membership' areas depending on the site)

- 'I do not wish to carry out the procedures alone and I prefer to let a professional handle the problem': you can go through a service provider such as Sos Internet to help you stop direct debits ORDERFEECREW:

    1. They take care of the identification searches of the company that takes your money
    2. They carry out the termination procedures
    3. They send you a confirmation email once everything is stopped
    4. Their services are chargeable (and 'effective or reimbursed' guarantees).

4/4 - Can I block my card with my bank to stop the ORDERFEECREW card withdrawals?

If it is a card fraud, that is, if the card has been physically lost and used by a third party, you can report it lost to your banker. You will also be able to open a fraud file to try to obtain a refund (this point is to be discussed directly with your bank advisor).

If you are still in possession of your card, it is very unlikely that it is a card hack: in this case, you have entered your bank details and have validated the GTC (General Conditions of Sale) which informed you about a possible subscription: blocking the card would therefore mean not honoring a contract for which you have signed up. We therefore do not recommend blocking your credit card.

What the law says ? : in March 2018, the court of cassation accepted the culpable negligence of a customer who had transmitted his data to a fraudulent site. This is the reason why a banker may refuse to block your card if you are the originator of the subscription.
