Why is SPARK-TIME NET taking money from me? The 4 key facts.

4 questions / answers to understand
this bank charge

1/4 SPARK-TIME NET direct debits: why am I being withdrawn? Is this an online scam?

SPARK-TIME NET withdrawals are the consequence of a subscription. SPARK-TIME NET debits you sums of money because you have subscribed to an online service (meetings? Contests? Clairvoyance sites? Video sites, series, games… there are tens of thousands of sites that offer subscriptions to access their offers).

Am I the victim of an online scam? This is fraud IF someone has stolen your bank card and made purchases without your consent. If you still have your card there is a good chance that you were the initiator of the initial purchase which resulted in the SPARK-TIME NET withdrawals.

But I do not remember at all having agreed to pay a subscription! This is a remark that we often read in your messages. Here is an explanation: maybe you entered your card numbers to buy a trial offer, participate in a competition, pay the shipping costs of a 'gift'… and you did not take the time to read the Terms and Conditions, Conditions of Sale of the site which indicated that unless you refuse it, you subscribe to their service.

2/4 How to stop SPARK-TIME NET direct debits? 2 solutions!

There are two methods to stop SPARK-TIME NET direct debits and cancel / terminate the current subscription:

- You want to do the procedures yourself: the solution (free)

  1. Identify the site at the origin of these cash withdrawals (i.e. the site on which you entered your credit card details and took out a subscription)
  2. Once you have found the site, connect to it (if you have a current subscription, the site knows you and you have an account with them) and go to the settings to cancel the 'commitment
  3. In some cases, you can directly contact SPARK-TIME NET support to request termination (our advice: remember to write in the language of the site)

- You prefer to be accompanied by a professional: entrust your termination problem to a service provider. Our recommendation to help you stop SPARK-TIME NET direct debits: sos-internet.

  1. Investigation / research: agents take care of the identification searches of the company that takes you from you
  2. Actions / administrative: they carry out the termination procedures
  3. Confidence: 100% of services are guaranteed 'effective or reimbursed'

3/4 Easily cancel a subscription with the help of Sos Internet: how does it work?

Do you want to go through a service provider to end SPARK-TIME NET direct debits? Because you can't do it alone, because you don't have the time, don't want to… It doesn't matter, this service exists to make your life easier 😉

The essential in this area is sos-internet.

Why do we recommend it to you?

Most:

  1. Steps from A to Z: survey to find the site at the origin of the debits, termination procedures ... and all this in all languages (practical when you do not speak English for example!)
  2. When possible, Sos Internet helps you get a refund of all or part of the sums withdrawn (be careful, unfortunately this is not systematic because each case is unique. When a refund is possible, your account manager indicates it to you and begins the procedures for you as a bonus for termination procedures)
  3. All termination services are guaranteed '100% effective or refunded'

Cons:

  1. These services have a cost (count between 24,90 and 49,90 euros for a termination service)

4/4 Renewing your bank card to stop SPARK-TIME NET direct debits: a good idea?

What the law says ? : in March 2018, the court of cassation accepted the culpable negligence of a customer who had transmitted his data to a fraudulent site. Indeed, the General Conditions of Sale (GTC) clearly indicated that the trial offer was extended by a subscription if the Internet user was satisfied with the service and did not communicate to the company his desire to terminate the engagement. This court decision explains why a banker may refuse to block your card if you are the originator of the purchase.

If you are still in possession of your bank card, it is very unlikely that it is a card hack as explained above: blocking the card would therefore mean not honoring a contract for which you signed up. engaged. We therefore do not recommend blocking your credit card but carrying out the online procedures to cancel the current subscription.

Fraud point: of course, if your card has been stolen from you and you are therefore not at the origin of the purchase, contact your bank as soon as possible. In some cases, you will be able to open a fraud file to try toget a refund : this point is to be seen directly with your bank or your card issuer (Visa, Mastercard…).
