Is SAFOPOLY debit a card fraud scam?

 

If you notice a debit from SAFOPOLY, it means that your bank card has been entered on a website. Why, how, not who? This is what we will see:

Here are some examples of offers and sites on which you could have entered your bank details: a trial offer on a clairvoyance site (for example '30 minutes for 1 euro '), a small subscription for a dating site or another adult content site that required proof of age by entering bank card numbers… All these examples have the same goal and the same consequence: that of automatically subscribing to an online service billed every month.

Unless your bank card has disappeared and another person has used it to register on a website, there is a good chance that you are at the origin of this subscription to SAFOPOLY. Perhaps you did not understand that entering your bank details could lead to a subscription? (this is quite possible and unfortunately very common.)

In summary, we cannot consider this to be a scam in the sense that it is not a bank card hacking.

 

Where does the SAFOPOLY bank debit come from?

 

As explained above, this flow follows a registration on a website that operates on the subscription model.

Our diagnosis: It seems that the CB SAFOPOLY withdrawal is the result of a subscription taken on an adult content site (meetings or photos / videos for adults for example) or a medium clairvoyance site. You don't remember having taken out a subscription? Maybe you thought you were just entering your bank details for a little trial offer (or to prove your majority or your identity). Many sites use this type of commercial mechanic in order to sell subscriptions.

Please note: this debit card is recurring. You must complete cancellation procedures to no longer be charged for the next few months.

 

How to stop SAFOPOLY bank debits?

 

There are two solutions to stop withdrawals from SAFOPOLY and terminate any subscription taken out against your will:

2. Once you have found the site, log into it (if you have a current subscription with them, you should have an account with them)
