SCRHLP: Why are they taking money from you? How to stop the debits?

4 questions / answers to understand
this bank charge

1/4 Which company debits my account under the title SCRHLP? Is it a scam?

SCRHLP card operations correspond to a subscription taken out online. SCRHLP charges you because you have subscribed to a service on a website (contests? Redemption / reduction sites? Dating sites, movies / series, video games ... there are thousands of sites that offer offers on the subscription model).

Did I get stuck by a SCRHLP scam? This is a scam IF your bank card has been stolen and purchases have been made with it. If you still have your card, chances are you are responsible for the SCRHLP subscription.

But I never agreed to subscribe to anything and pay every month! We believe you. Here is what could have happened: you entered your card numbers to make a small online purchase (trial offer, shipping costs for a gift, etc.) and you have not read the Site Conditions (GTC ) which indicated that unless you decline it, you are subscribing to their service.

This happens very often, if we are to believe the comments we read on our site, but don't worry, we explain how to cancel the subscription !

2/4 How to stop SCRHLP debits definitively? We explain to you!

Canceling SCRHLP debits is free. You can carry out the formalities alone directly online. You will find more information on the details of the procedure directly on their platform.

If you can't do it or don't want to do it alone (because you are lost, because you do not remember the origin of the subscription or for any other reason), it is possible to pass a termination assistance provider. For this we recommend I stop the costs!

This company helps you to identify the origin of the withdrawals and to stop them definitively. They can even help you get a refund when possible (be careful, refunds are unfortunately not systematic, because they are really on a case-by-case basis. On the other hand, when it comes to stopping direct debits / canceling of subscriptions, their services are guaranteed to be 100% effective or reimbursed.

3/4 Declare your bank card stolen or lost to stop SCRHLP debits: a controversial solution

What the law says ? : in March 2018, the court of cassation refused an individual to blame his bank following an online scam. The CDC accepted the culpable negligence of a customer who had transmitted his data to a fraudulent site. This court decision explains why a banker could refuse to block your card and to consider a refund of the sums withdrawn if you are at the origin of the purchase.

If you are still in possession of your bank card, it is very unlikely that it is a card hack as explained above: blocking the card would therefore mean not honoring the contract which binds you to the bank. company that charges you under the title; SCRHLP. We therefore do not recommend blocking your credit card but carrying out the online procedures to cancel the current subscription..

4/4 Easily terminate direct debits with I stop the costs! : a useful and efficient service!

As specified above, services exist to make your life easier 😉

Why we recommend you I stop the costs! ?

Because :

  1. It is a complete support: investigation to find the site at the origin of the debits, termination procedures ... and all this in all languages (practical when the termination must be done in English for example!)
  2. When possible, 'I stop the costs!' helps you get a refund of all or part of the sums withdrawn. This is on a case-by-case basis. When a refund is possible, your account manager will inform you.
  3. All termination services are guaranteed '100% effective or refunded'

To know however:

  1. These services have a cost (count between 24,90 and 49,90 euros for a termination service)

One last info: if it is a card fraud (= theft of your card or theft of your card details) you can declare it stolen / lost to your banker + file a complaint at a police station. You will also be able to open a fraud file to try toget a refund (this point is to be done directly with your bank).

Pssst!

On January 23, my deferred debit card was charged twice €49.99 by two companies to which I had subscribed to a monthly subscription, even though I did nothing.
Following readings it is HPY*TAFBILL.COM and CCRHLP.COM
It started again on 23/02 for the second.
Can you help me stop these deductions and request their reimbursement which to date amounts to:
    €49.99 for the first
    €49,99 x2 per 2 = €99.98 for the second
    Goods.
